What is the status of developments?
- 18/08/08 Work has commenced on collecting
photographic material from the day's events. If you have material,
video footage or photographs, please consider donating copies to
Remembrance Ledegem.

It was on track and on time!
- The Commemoration Ceremonies and Events took place!
On the 11th October the exhibition of work by the children of Ledegem school was displayed. Pictures of the displays will be published shortly in the Photo Gallery.
The commemoration parade on the 12 October was a terrific success with over 400 hundred people taking part. The Freedom of the City of Ledegem was awarded to the Leinster Regiment Association by the Burgemeester and Eldermen of the Ledegem. - Organisational Review of the weekend parade

There was a meeting for all group representatives, together with the Mayor on Saturday 16 August in the Town Hall in Ledegem. At this meeting the program detail was finalised and confirmation of participants received. (Photographs in Gallery) - Confirmation of Invitation Acceptance

Colonel Peter Walton agrees to appointment of Parade Commander for the commemoration parade. In this role he will be liaising with Lt. Col. Vanden Berghe and the Commanding Officer of the Belgian Army delegation to ensure a smooth interface between British and Belgian army practices. - New Pipe March composed for Ledegem
Pipe Major Dominic Murphy has written and composed a new Pipe March in honour of Remembrance Ledegem. Called "The Heroes of Ledegem" it will be heard in public for the first time on the 12 October 2008.
